HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting blush MOOD EXPOSURE Review & Swatches

I have a thing for HOURGLASS BLUSHES and only reach for them when in doubt and in hurry not to forget. The shade am sharing today is “MOOD EPOSURE” which is described as SOFT PLUM fused with MOOD LIGHT Ambient powder .

MOOD EXPOSURE is very soft, cool toned plum shade with rosy undertones to it; the shade can look flattering on all skin tones. The blush is buildable and blendable and doesn’t look out of the place even if you use heavy hand due to presence of highlighting powder. I like the concept and even if they are baked the powder itself is very soft and can be powdery at times.

My personal favourite powder from HOURGLASS is luminous light, and luminous flush blush have the same powder mixed in that shade but MOOD EXPOSURE is just so wonderful and flattering on my NC 40 skin tone and something I reach for all the time.

I highly recommend you to try one of these , if I have to pick one – it would be either this or Luminous flush or even Radiant magenta … it is so confusing, but trust me you, they are seriously amazing and are collector’s item.

This is what brand says  :

Designed to be paired with Ambient Lighting Powder, the twin formulas share the same technology that enhances the appearance of the skin. Using them together creates a multidimensional luminescence that is not achieved by using a different product. This product is free of fragrance, nano-particle, talc, and gluten. It was not tested on animals.

Shade descriptions:Dim Infusion (Subdued coral blush fused with Dim Light to add warmth), Diffused Heat (Vibrant poppy blush combined with Diffused Light for a subtle halo effect), Luminous Flush (Champagne rose blush fused with Luminous Light to evoke a candlelit glimmer), Radiant Magenta (Golden fuchsia blush combined with Radiant Light for a summer glow), Mood Exposure (Soft plum blush fused with Mood Light to brighten the complexion), Ethereal Glow (Cool pink blush fused with Ethereal Light for a moonlit luminosity).

And this is how blush looks on me : I feel the foundation is tad bit lighter plus the sunlight and flash played their game , however if you see neck and shoulder the shade looks well blended .
