I recently did BACK TO MAC and picked MAC MOCHA Lipstick which was especially recommended to me by my friend SHIVANI from AOYV. MOCHA is much raved lip colour from MAC’s Permanent’s line and is from SATIN FINISH .
MOCHA is described as Peachy Yellow Brown, it is universally flattering peachy brown n**e shade for my NC 40 skin tone and sits pretty on my lips for 4 – 5 hrs. It is from SATIN finish and is one of my favourite in terms of pigmentation and staying power. There is slightly glossy sheen to it but not slippery feel. As it is from permanent line I recommend you to try this in store before buying and see how the shade turns with and without good makeup base. Although , half of the time it is out of stock as it is fastest moving shade in India .
When I was reading MUA , I noticed that this colour is hit amongst NC 40 and above skin tone , I regret not buying it earlier and can’t thank my stars that I have a shade which is easy to carry off and doesn’t make me look pale and drained .
On scale of 1 – 10, I would give this 9: the colour may not be flattering on every skin tone but for NC 40 and above it would be great warm n**e shade.
I agree that MAC reviews are hit amongst readers and hence will try to do those more often, MACness as you say!

In the news : I swatched MAC TEMPRATURE RISING Collection this weekend , although that time I didn’t quiet liked anything but now I want Feel my Pulse lipstick and will call my MAC to keep one aside for me . Rest of the shades were not that great but I loved BLUSEHS … GOD, they were HEAVEN, absolute delight.
And, INGLOT is opened (re – opened) in BANGALROE PHOENIX MALL, WHITE FIELD this Friday.

Technically im waiting for chanel cream blushes. So till then i thought ill sataite my makeup appetite wth mac temprtre rising after reading temptalia review. Also want the gold strobe liquid. The original strobe not good for my dark skin. Ysl blushes ha?? Never went in that zone. Im v new to blushes . Only have mac, nars taj mahal and one estee ..

buy INGLOT square refill for 480/- to keep those blushes 😀 😀

Went to Inglot today ! I am totally impressed. Bought lipstick shades 38 and 56 after seeing one of ur posts. Also picked up a peachy brownish blush 21 and a small neutral eye shadow which has 3 shades. The texture of the blush is amazing. I just started to use blush.

This may be a universally flattering shade, but Mocha looks terrible on me. It drains the color right off, and looks vaguely orange-brown on my nc 45 skin. I know many women rave about this, but I will have to pass:((
