I was planning to do this for a long time – incorporate drugstore makeup and share a look, I’m not against any brand or any product but my simple rule is…. Spend less but buy good quality and that doesn’t mean a hefty price tag .

Trust me you , even my clients ask me easily affordable products available in India , not everyone is interested in waiting for shipment and paying customs and please include me as well . I tried some products in past and recently picked some from Shoppers Stop from newly launched Lakme range and they impressed me so far. I couldn’t find a good matte eye shadow palette so the one am using is not technically drugstore brand but am all ears for good recommendations.

And , This is how the look turned up :

A closer look at the product used :

 

Applied Matt Smith all over the eyes with concealer as the base , Applied Matt Ramirez in the crease , Applied Matt Batali on outer V , Applied Matt Gallagher above the crease as transition shade , Applied the same purple in inner eyes as well …. you can use any matte eyeshadow palette , as I don’t have any from drugstore I picked this palette with all matte shades

 

Applied lighter shade of grey from LAKME QUAD on middle of the lids and apply lighter shade of LAKME Moonlight highlighter on top of that , Applied the darker shimmery shade of quad on lower lash line with Lakme ultimate kohl on waterline to give that smudgy look

Apply lighter shade of Moonlight highlighter on inner tear duct and on brow bone and finish with mascara

On lips – REVLON Cherries in the snow super lustrous lipstick, if I have to pick just “ONE” lipstick from drugstore, it would be THIS

On Cheeks – The new Lakme blush in Coral and Lakme moonlight highlighter lighter shade on cheek bones and bridge of the nose and on collar bone 

On Face – As I was confused about the concelaer, Derma Colour came in handy and foundation is my favourite Bourjois Healthy Mix in shade no 55
