I usually travel with decent amount of skincare and loads of makeup stuff but due to sudden change of plan I landed with only 3 products which am religiously using for the past week or 10 days and am pretty much happy with results . I’m a skincare convert due to “MAKEUP BAN” and need a pat on my back for not shopping a single lipstick or nail polish since Jan 1st , it’s been 4 months and I haven’t even browsed any makeup product and trust me , there is nothing am missing so far , nor even excited about . But, one thing is there …. If I break my ban it would definitely be Tom Ford or Charlotte Tilbury.
To start with – A.M. cleanser – OSKIA Renaissance
This is staple in my stash for past 3 weeks and I already own a back of this , it is so amazing – non foaming , deep cleaning and doesn’t leave my skin dry .. What else do you need? More on this once I review but if you are planning to buy a new cleanser this it!
I always use a toner, followed by a serum and sunscreen but these days am only left with sunscreen and the one am using is –
ALPHA H SPH 50 daily essential moisturizer – again , relatively new product but GOSH , I Want a bigger size ASAP – high protection , light weight , non greasy texture which doesn’t leave any white cast … it is absolutely amazing sunscreen I tried so far .
My night time moisturizer –
I change this often when am in comfort of my home – ALPHA H liquid gold / CLINIQUE turnaround / Peter Thomas Roth sleeping mask / Vichy Aqualia Thermal night spa / PIXI overnight glow serum to name a few …Weekly , I usually use 5 different products but there is only 1 with me right now – ALPHA H Liquid Gold rejuvenating cream .
I used just twice and noticed that I wake up with amazingly glowing skin , non drying and no breakouts … will not write much at this point of time but I have high hopes with this one due to Glycolic and Hyaluronic Acid . As the cream is designed to use 2 – 3 times I week, I alternate this with OIL and my skin is trying to get hang of it.
Due to 101 things running at back of my mind there is little dullness but not something which can’t be dealt with.
As you all know, I mostly buy from SEPHORA US but these days I avoid as there is no one coming in near future to bring my stuff plus shopping from UK is relatively easier due to sites like – CULT, Look Fantastic and Feel Unique.
One thing I have learnt after shopping from CULT, which no one shared … Sadly!
If you plan to shop for 2 – 3 products from same brand, wait for GWP / offers and you will be likely to get a good deal. I’m no expert but so far have love and hate relationship with CULT BEAUTY …
Parcel misplace for which they sent replacement – once
Order delayed by 2 months – twice
Paid duty – twice
Clean and Carefree purchases – thrice
So far the main issue is – parcel being delayed by customs as there is no tracking provided plus they charge duty which is so annoying.
I still have to shop from Look fantastic to give you better idea and a comparison , I did shopped from Feel Unique thrice and it wasn’t a great experience … if you have shopped I would love to hear your experience and any tips you can share in comments below .
Yay for high-end skincare! It really works. I have the Balancing Moisturiser from Alpha H. Sadly, it doesn’t have SPF but the lady said to use non-SPF moisturiser right now because of the infection. I hardly step outdoors when it’s sunny now but eventually I’ll get the Daily Essential Moisturiser to double as sunscreen. Definitely try LookFantastic! I love those guys (despite damaged parcel once, but that’s India Post handling’s fault). And now, Feelunique says they offer free EMS speed post if you shop for above 60GBP. Will try it out with my birthday code and see what happens.

Hi,I sometimes buy from beautybay.com and they are quite good too.they give free shipping if you shop for more than Rs 1500 and the best part.. no duty.If i get a damaged stuff which is mostly due to india post…they send me a replacement immediately.
