A quick makeover on my friend !

I bet you all would agree with me that it is very easy to do makeup on yourself but when it comes to show some magic on your friends and family we all face “N” number of issues. When I posted my “DRAB TO FAB” look here , a close friend of mine – Preeti, came to me with so many questions and asked me if I can show her some basic look. I was amused with the idea however the main issue was , she had ran out of her base makeup and as we both fall under different skin tones it was very difficult for me to show her what she was expecting , however we tried a little and came up with the look using all these products .

For eyes I used same products – MAC All that glitters all over the lids , MAC Cork in the crease and MAC Shroom on brow bone , however added BRUN to darken the crease a little more . Applied Colorbar Just Smokey on upper and lower waterline and Clinique gel liner on upper lash line, finished with mascara.

For cheeks I used – MAC Burnt Pepper blush with MAC Gala highlighter and MAC Shadester to add little warmth.

On face – I was in a fix but BOURJOIS healthy mix in shade no 57 was the best I could find for her from my stash. As her main concern is dark circles and I don’t have any corrector I used my concealer in NC 42 which I know is not going with the look.

For lips we picked MAC Chilli with NARS”O” Lipgloss on top

You have done a great job Rashmi and I must say applying makeup on others is definitely very difficult for me, especially liner and mascara! Hope your friend also liked the makeover, I am sure she must have.

I agree with the concealer struggle for hiding darkness. I have dark circles from hereditary, and always always use a corrector otherwise it looks very ashy!
