Before I start reviewing YSL lipsticks I picked last month here is a quick swatch post for you. I know it took me ages to start reviewing ESTEE LAUDER ENVY SCULPTING range and hence here is a quick post for the shades I picked and swatches.
Sadly, YSL ( read all reviews here ) no longer market its products in India and my only resort is Strawberrynet.com and I picked these in sale. Each lipstick is mostly 2100 – 2300, but with 10 % off my account, 10 % off makeup plus 5 % off on 6 items I paid more or less 1600 – 1700 each. I always recommend picking in bulk but make sure you don’t face any custom issues.
I’m a regular strawberrynet.com ( AFFILIATE LINK ) customer for past 5 years now and never paid a single penny in Bangalore and Jaipur but in Pune the customs is horrible. I’m not referring to the amount but the delay in parcel.
This is just a swatch post and I shall start reviewing them soon. I guess am done with lipstick shopping for next quarter or say this year , have tried almost most of the formula – liquid , shine , matte , super matte . I was most excited for KAT VON D Everlasting liquid lipstick ( see in action here ) and so far liking it and these days am absolutely hooked to Bobbi Brown high shimmer gloss and really kick myself hard thinking why didn’t I never bothered to pick them ?

I recently picked up 03 and OMG the formula is amazing!!! I need 07 , 19 and 34 in my life now!

I always have a hard time remembering these by numbers. My favorites out of these are 2 and 34 – I checked and realized I have both (Poupre Intouchable and Rose Asarine) 😀 But Rose Asarine was slightly disappointing on me – it looks like a pinky-red in your hand swatch, but appears almost fuschia like on my lips 🙁 Can’t wait to see all these in action on you soon Rashmi!

I share your sorrows for YSL! It was heart breaking that they left India! 🙁 Anyway Super haul and I think I need #3 Rouge Volupte! I love the Rouge Pur Couture line and right now #5 is everything that I wear on a daily basis! 🙂
