The prettiest flush with BECCA Songbird Blush !

SONY DSC

I picked this blush for some 700/- INR or $ 12 from strawberry net daily deals where it’s originally priced at 1900 INR / $ 30 . As always, I was pleasantly surprised how the blush turned up and here is quick review and FOTD with the same.

This is what Brand says about this range –

Impart a soft halo of color onto the apples of your cheeks with this delicate mineral powder blush that subtly reflects the light and casts a luminous glow.

Formulated with a natural mineral complex and infused with antioxidant vitamins A, E, and C, this blush nourishes and conditions skin for a smooth, illuminated complexion.

Key attributes

  • Infused with anti-oxidants such as Vitamin A, E and C
  • Natural mineral complex including Mica
  • Contains skin treating conditioners for smooth, even application
  • Delicate illuminating particles to create natural luminosity
  • Packaged in a classic BECCA compact with mirror for on-the-go application
  • Free of parabens and phenoxyethanol, fragrance, alcohol, oil, chemical dyes, talc and other fillers

SIZE – 6 gms , Price 1900/- INR

Songbird is subtle warm toned peachy pink blush with super fine golden shimmer, almost like MAC STYLE BLUSH but with a hint of pink in it. The blush looks quite scary in pan but it is very sheer in nature. I get 6 – 7 hrs of wear with this and then it fades very evenly.  AS the blush is on sheerer side I need a little bit of layering but it is easy to build up. I swirled my brush 2 – 3 times to get the colour you see here in pictures and nowhere had it turned powdery or patchy. The shimmer is super fine and adds a luminous sheen to my cheeks.

The packaging is really cute, rubberized and metal cover on top panel; there is decent size mirror inside it for easy touch ups.

The blush being on sheerer side it is still worth the buy, it is not soft as some other blush in same price range but is not disappointing at all. I feel the colour is easy to dupe though.

On scale of 1 – 10 , I would give this 8 – Keeping in mind that it was a bargain I feel the blush lived up to the expectation but at 1900/- a pop I would indulge in some other blush .
