I sit in my living room and look around– a feeding chair my kid has outgrown, a wall clock I have seen for too long, a couch which hinders movement – I don’t need these. So what do I need? INDIA CLASSIFIEDS which can help me dispose them to someone who could better appreciate them. Enter OLX
An online portal providing a wide array of products and services – from electronic gadgets to electrical goods, from smart phones to not so smart refrigerators, from houses and PG accommodation to jobs – this is one site which has it all. And what makes this site so unique is that this site is not about big distributors selling big names but about real people like you and me selling stuff they have outgrown to people who need them.
And they make the entire process of selling/buying so easy!

Finding out about OLX:
I am amazed by the power advertising has – a audio-visual of few seconds can effectively communicate with the consumer about the product/service, be real enough to form a connect with the consumer and create a lasting impression! “Bech de” (sell it) campaign of OlX does just that and very effectively too!!
My favorite is the one where the wife nags (yes…nags….yes, I admit that’s what we do!!!) the husband about promises made while buying a bike 2 years earlier. A bike, which lies unused! And wife tells hubby to “bech de”!
This situation is so comical but so real.
But do not be fooled by their amazing Indian psyche connect. This is no home spun company. OLX, found in March 2006, is a multinational giant used in over 105 countries in 40 languages. Which kind of makes me wonder, do people all over the world buy too much stuff? Must be! But atleast there is finally someone there to help organize it….into other people’s houses!
You see all the sales in the last month! You, me and the whole city went bonkers buying stuff they don’t need or will ever use – why? Because its on sale!! So when the credit card bills start rolling in, do remember this amazing site – olx.in!!
