MAC PEACHTWIST Blush : Review and FOTD

MAC PEACHTWIST Blush is described as Golden Peach and has Sheertone shimmer Finish . I had already shared this shade in my PREVIEW HERE  long back and here is a quick Review and FOTD with the blush . These are priced at $ 20 + Tax or 1350/- INR for 6 gms of pan .

PEACHTWIST is peachy bronze shade with prominent golden sheen shimmer in it. When they say SHEERTONE SHIMMER: they are sheer in texture but are buildable to get the colour what you see in pan and comes with added bonus of SHIMMER so that you get the beautiful sheen on cheeks without being too loud. These are little hard in texture and not as powdery as Satin or Matte would be and hence you will never go wrong with the application .

I liked the blush and it is one my favourite finish, I have 9 out of 10 shades available in this range. As they are buildable they are foolproof and you will never go wrong in application even if you are just beginner and I always recommend trying this finish first.

There are 3 blushes which are between same colour range just little light / dark from each other peach brown golden bronze: Sunbasque, Sweet as Cocoa and Peachtwist . For me Sweet as Cocoa is great as the colour is dark enough to show on my medium – dark skin tone, if you are little lighter then NC 40 then you might like Sunbasque, I love it but it needs little bit of layering and the third one is this – Peachtwist which is my least favourite , not that the color is not great but I find SAC working great on me , if you are lighter then NC 35 – 40 then this is great blush for you.

The golden shimmer is not super fine and you can see that it sits on my cheeks but only if you look closely , it looks pretty normal to me when I see myself in mirror . The blush stays good for 6 – 7 hrs but the sheen fades off after 3 – 4 hr . I prefer MAC 116 Blush Brush for this and for my coloring I need little bit of layering .

I don’t have any qualms with the shade of the blush but if am looking for a peachy bronze shade for my cheeks then I might pick Sweet as Cocoa and would skip this. If you are looking for peachy bronze shade with golden shimmer and are little lighter then NC 30 – 35  then you can try this as it adds enough warmth to give that sun kissed look and same can be achieved from Sweet as Cocoa and in a good way if you are above NC 40 .

There are 10 shades of Blushes in SHEERTONE SHIMMER FINISH and here they are ( except for TRACEGOLD )  :

Plum Foolery , Ambering Rose , Sunbasque and Dollymix

SWEET AS COCOA – Best for NC 40 + skin tone

PEACHYKEEN – Best if you are below NC 40 – 45

SPRINGSHEEN – Will suit if you are between NC 25 – 40

BREEZY – Will suit medium to dark skin tone

And this is how the blush looks on my NC 40 skin tone :

I hope you find the review helpful ? Which one is your favorite peachy bronze blush ?
