MAC Neutral Palette – The Indian Way

I wanted to do this for a longgggg time but when Zara mentioned this I couldn’t stop myself from taking the pics and sharing my favorite picks for Neutral eyeshadow from MAC ….

I don’t know how long it will take , but this was going on back of my mind for past few days –  A series featuring colors which is / are suitable for our skin tone in particular so that’s why it says ” The Indian Way “ . You will get to see … ” Red Lips – The Indian Way “ , “Pink lips – the Indian Way “ and so on … the first to feature here is ” MAC Neutral Eyeshadow Palette – The Indian Way “

I am out an out experimental person and you wont believe , I have not even used my UD Naked 2 palette which is great neutral palette but when I was making my MAC Neutral palette from my existing 3 palettes , I was so confused . The palettes shown here are my highlighters , gold , bronze , black smokey , grey , taupe , neutrals and so on and I picked 14 out of these ….

And this is what I came up with :

Top Row : Where most of you like Soft Brown for transition color I would pick Wedge over that , it adds more color and shows up nicely on my lids , if you are little fair then you can opt for Soft Brown but it is little too warm for my liking , nevertheless it is must have in my palette of NEUTRALS . My favorite color for highlighting brow bone is Brule , have a whole palette of highlighters but THIS IS IT !!! A.T.G. is another stunning neutral shade which can be used on lids without much efforts ,it packs lot of pigment and is must have neutral shimmery shade IMO . If you find Brule too pale and light then go for Rice Paper which is great highlighter , I recently picked Arena which is good for darker skin tone to highlight .

Brule – Soft Creamy Beige ( Satin ):

Soft Brown – Soft Golden Peachy Brown ( Matte )  :

Wedge – Soft muted beige Taupe ( Matte ) :

All That glitters  A.T.G. –  Beige with Gold Pearl ( Veluxe Pearl )  :

Rice Paper – Peachy Gold with shimmer (Frost )  :

Middle Row : My most favorite NEUTRALS , If I have to pick only one from this row , it would be tough task …  all 5 are stunning shades and not overly brown , shimmery and hard to incorporate . Bronze is a must have shade where Romp is the color I would pick instead of Woodwinked , Amber Lights is no doubt little overly shimmery but again it is meant for this palette to work with shades like Espresso and Rice Paper . I see most of you would pick Twinks but for me it is Sable all the way , it is not too brown like Twinks and lends a enough warmth and pigmentation which is needed in A Good Neutral Palette . Tempting is my recent pick and I have added a swatch here , the color is beautiful bronze shade and is not intense as Bronze which might scare some of you to wear on day to day basis .

Bronze – Gold Bronze with Gold Bronze Shimmer ( Frost )  :

Amber Lights – Peachy Brown with Shimmer ( Frost ) :

Tempting – Sinfully Rich Cocoa ( Lustre ) :

Sable – gold Plum with Bronze Pearl ( Velvet )  :

Romp – Chocolate laced with gold (Frost) :

Last Row : You might not like the swatches here , but all 4 colors are awesome when you use them . Satin Taupe is by far the best shade in this line the shimmer and pigmentation is one of a kind and SMUT being most used for smokey look as it is not black nor brown .. it is my pick for effortless soft smokey shade . Embark might not be that great in terms of blend ability but it is beautiful shade and is great neutral when you don’t want to use black or grey .

Satin Taupe – Taupe with Silver Shimmer ( Frost ) :

Espresso – Muted Golden Brown ( Matte ) :

Smut – Muted Black with Red Shimmer ( Velvet ) :

Embark – Intense Reddish Brown ( Matte )  :

A final look at the palette with and without names :

I hope you liked my versatile palette ? Do share your favorite MAC Neutral eyeshadow

There are 14 shades in above palette and My 7 MUST Have would be : Brule , Wedge , A.T.G. , Bronze , Romp , Satin Taupe and Smut

This is so just so amazing palette…Very well organized and just the best colors in the neutral palette….I m sure there r many more to be filled in and i’m waiting to see how farther they go.
Its a perfect array of neutrals and nudes to fit every occasion and to adhere to the makeup roots when there is an explosion of bright colors elsewhere on the face.
    Very impressed!!

try it with some base dear .. and more over if it wears well with specs πŸ˜€ … i guess it will work for as you as a subtle goldenish brown color
