ILLAMASQUA Sealing Gel Review

I am sure you might have seen this wonderful product demo when ILLAMASQUA released   , few months back … I wanted to try this ever since I saw the awesome use of the product and was lucky enough to try it when PR sent this with HUMAN FUNDAMENTALISM Collection .

Sealing gel as mentioned above is used to convert any powder product in a creamy paste which can be used as liner or any body art . It holds true to its expectation and stays put for hrs without smudging and fading and does intensifies the color .

When I used this first with my powder eyeshadow directly in pan , it did ruined the small part of it , hence its always safe to scratch your powder eyeshadow in some mixing Palette and then add a drop or two to make sure your powder product is not spoiled with this gel like product .

Using pigment with sealing is much more easier , you can add a drop of this and your pigment turns into fantastic liner . I had hard time using this when I wanted to apply my pigment all over the eyes as an eyeshadow , so what I did –

Applied a drop of this directly on my eye lids with help of my finger and then dabbed pigment with help of brush and even out . That way it was much much easier and even looking . When I tried to do it with brush it was more messier . A clean finger swiped on eyes with sealing gel is the correct idea when you use loose pigment as an eyeshadow , for liner you can add a drop of sealing gel and little loose pigment on palette and make a paste out of it and use your brush to create a liner .

I hope am not confusing you with this ??

It is more or less like INGLOT DURALINE and I will post a comparison between the two to give you better idea.

I have used SEALING GEL in In this look as a liner and In this look to stick Ore Pigment on lids and ILLAMASQUA OBSIDIAN eyeshadow as liner and In this look using ORE PIGMENT as Liner .

I highly recommend trying this and moreover you get 2 bottles in each pack , that’s make it complete must have from ILLAMASQUA .

    This ORE pigment is looking great as liner.. without this gel can we use pigments as liner? i mean is there any other way to use it?
