ILLAMASQUA Liable lipstick is described as Orange Red with matte finish . It is fiery shade of Scarlet ( reddish orange ) with strong warm undertones with not so creamy texture. The lipstick is part of HUMAN Fundamentalism Collection and released along with beautiful bright Fuchsia Pink Lipstick Eurydice , I wanted the color so badly ever since I saw it on my friend Anamika …. from wiseshe and placing the order as soon as I get a code and some bucks to spend .
These are priced at £15.50 and considering my Bank charged me conversion rate of 88 /- INR this time , I am hoping , if not more it will certainly cost me 1370/- INR .
The lipstick has a matte finish and is very drying on lips if they are not well moisturized. I find the color good for my coloring but if you are little lighter then NC 40 you might want to use it as a stain not that you are not able to wear it with full force but that is just my opinion . It is hard to layer evenly as the texture is not super smooth like some of the other lipsticks I have from ILLAMASQUA , but no complaints if you want a orange red matte lipstick .
It stays for good 6 hrs on my lips and even after that the lips are stained pretty well , I do need a touch of lip balm to get rid of the dryness it gives . If you want to wear a different color lipstick the other day you need to scrub it well and again use a lip balm to smooth it down . It hides the pigmentation completely and gives coverage in one stroke .
If you love orange based red and long staying color do get this , I have 2 more shades from ILLAMASQUA to show you this week and they are WELT and SCANDAL … do wait for some more shades for your alter ego .

I think this shade is similar to Revelon Crimson lipstick.. but that one is not so dry it has moisture so that the application becomes smooth.
yeah Revlon Crimson is pretty close but as you said it is very creamy and moisturizing 😀
