MAC Rebel Lipstick : Review , swatch and FOTD

 

 

MAC Rebel lipstick is described as Vivid Pinkish – Purple and has Satin Finish . Price : 990/- INR and is part of their permanent range. To me , it is Gorgeousness at its BEST : Love at first sight and still going strong.

It is beautiful deep pink berry shade with subtle sheen , it has completely opaque finish and stays good for 4- 5 hrs on my lips and leaves behind beautiful berry tint on my lips which is equally appreciable. It is Dead – On – Gorgeous color and I would say if you are afraid of Reds do give this a shot … it is certainly in your face color but not too garish and vampy. The color instantly brightens up the complexion and takes it to another level , adds an amazing glow to palest skin tone . The color is cool toned but isn’t hard to pull off on our warm Indian Skin tone. If I have to chose only one color to use this season this would be my pick , a hint of gloss in center of the lips to add extra oomph or say play it safe : apply a muted gloss to tone down the color.

I had already reviewed this 1 year back and GOSH , you should see the review and my picture too , It is HORRIBLE but glad I have guts to post my pictures … AHH Do I love myself for that ??? LOVE , I am PROUD of myself ,  H E R E is your Rash in not her usual self , please let me know , did you liked the Transition ??

I am wearing this H E R E  as well and you have seen how I paired this with Oyster Girl lipglass H E R E .

And here is how the actual color looks on my medium NC 40 skin tone : I have Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation in # 55 and MAC Select Cover up Concealer in NW 35

 

 

Do I recommend : Do I have to ?? NO , don’t buy the color if you lack the confidence to carry this wonderful beauty , as I always say , no point in using these colors as stain !! I love this to death and seriously if you are buying please  do the justice with the color …

    I totally love this colour. It looks gorgeous on you!…Did you pair it with a lipliner to define the lips or is it just the Rebel Liptsick alone? If there is a lipliner please let me know the name? I am definately planning to try out this same combination. Thanks for such honest reviews Rashmi. Much appreciated!:)
