Bobbi Brown Sweet Nectar SPF 12 Lip color

I have already reviewed two colors from this range and I don’t need to tell time and again that these are one of THE BEST Lipsticks on the block and don’t be surprised if you see new color here very soon. I am not playing quiz but yeah I am already eying some awesome intense colors from this range. Bobbi Brown Lip color with SPF 12 are MUST HAVE in my dictionary.

They are very light weight and moisturizing lipstick with completely opaque finish and hence I maintain my words that they are worth investing in. The colors in this range varies from light pink to coral to plum and reds , unlike Bobbi Brown trade mark neutral lip color this is welcome change for her loyal fans .

I am fairly new to the brand but am in love with each and every piece I have and feel little disappointed that the products are not easily available in India and hence either you wait your friends or family to visit you or buy online from strawberrrynet where these are available for 900/- onwards.

Again I am not associated with the site but sharing my thoughts as you might like to indulge yourself in this beauty.

Sweet Nectar is lovely Medium Pink Coral color with very subtle shimmer to it, it doesn’t look as creamy as Rose Blossom and Cosmic Raspberry but the feel is same. The shimmer in lipstick makes it little hard to wear but tell you there is no drying whatsoever when I wore this and moreover it did stayed good for 5 hrs on my lips leaving nice pink tint on lips.

I am in love with Bobbi Brown Lip Color which is latest launch by the brand and have already made its mark with awesome color range and texture. These are must buy from Bobbi Brown and are decently priced as compared to other luxury brands. This particular color is so easy to wear kinds and doesn’t need much of an effort to show up nicely. You can go easy with your eyes or play in full swing; the color will compliment each and every skin tone and would look lovely on any complexion.

I am sorry no FOTD as of now as am not well, will be back in action and then am sure you will agree with me on the lip color being universally flattering.

    This is a beautiful shade…Is there a dupe for this in MAC Rash? i feel like ive seen this shade in ur stash sometime..

      thank you Zara …. no dear not like this but its very close to BB Guava which you have .. little lighter then Guava i can say 😀 …

    Rashmi Didi, you always pick all the beautiful lipsticks 🙂 Oh btw, when the MAC Semi-Precious collection comes out, do try them out. I know you’re not a big fan of Mineralize stuff, but the formula has improved quite a bit from the time I picked up Fresh Green Mix (the permanent duo) to the colours from Semi Precious. The blush, especially Feeling Flush, will look beautiful on your skintone. As for the eyeshadows, if you like blackened gold/bronze shades, the Golden Gaze is a nice colour. Very wearable with dark browney purple in the crease. As for the lipstick, you might like the Gem of Roses one, it’s quite sweet and goes with any skintone. I was laughing when Temptalia wrote that it’s a “must have” because I could picture women all over the world rushing to their MAC stores to grab that one lipstick at least.

        Haha, yes, a few.. I was resisting other stuff for a month, then this collection came out and I went by to look at it and was quite impressed with the texture of the products. I love black-based eye looks.. I wear my Blackground paint pot as a base at least twice a week .. it makes all the looks very smokey.

        Hm, for Surf Baby, I made a deal with my friend where we bought both the Crushed Metal stacks and split them. I wanted all the dark shades and she took all the lighter shades. I also got the Blue Noon eyeliner, which is quite nice but I think it’s dupeable. The My Paradise blush is really pretty, gives a very subtle blush with shimmer. Oh, also Surf USA (the teal.. wore it with Romp and a chocolate brown in the crease, was very wearable). That’s all 🙂
