MAC Desert Rose Blush – Review and FOTD

MAC Desert Rose Blush is described as Soft reddish-burgundy (Matte), this was my first matte blush and lovely SA forced me to try the color as this was the only blush which she thought would look nice on me apart from other which she mentioned and I already had.

Bang on!! As soon as she applied the blush , I was like WOW this looks awesome and then as I said I love MARGIN she said you can use Margin to highlight as the combo looks very HOT and yeah it sure looks awesome together and I still Thank her to took so much pain and suggesting me THE BEST of the LOT …

Desert Rose looks more of dark rosy pink with plum undertones to it, matte finish makes it awesome everyday shade and no fuss around shade I must say , you will never go wrong with this color as it gives awesome rosy flush to cheeks.

I am NC 35 and the blush looks perfect on my medium skin tone and would look wonderful on darker skin tones for fair skin gals am little clueless , as it might be too much for the pale skin or this is just my misconception.

This is the best matte blush from MAC which will suit our warm skin tone to T and if I have to keep only one Matte blush it would be this … Desert Rose gives awesome natural glow and perks up the complexion. I don’t need to apply too much as the pigmentation is awesome and only light hand is enough to make the blush visible on my skin.

Lately am using this blush a lot and recently I had worn this blush in This LOOK and here is one more pic of mine with adorable blush

Natural Light without Flash

I was never a blush person but when I started collecting (yeah this is the best word I could use here) my only focus was on soft shimmery blushes and thus never thought of matte blush, but as my blush collection is increasing I tend to buy matte blush and always keep a first place for them in my wish list and next one is either HARMONY or MELBA …. What say??

    This is a pretty blush – looks nice on you – good call by the SA – mac makes soooo many pinks that its hard to choose a fav. As for the next buy b/w Harmony or Melba…i’d go with Melba…if i recall correctly u don’t have anything similar, right? btw have u coloured u’r hair…1st photo looks as if u have pretty auburn hi-lights…or is it just the play of sunlight?

      still waiting for my stuff but I must share … I picked Benefit cha cha tint …. I so much want the color to work for me 🙂 🙂 …..

      and Hair Color for me ??? god I will never ever think of that honey or may be am too scared to color my hair …
      i think my little oily hair gave that color ahhaha 😀 want to know the oil ?? 😀 😀

    I don’t own a single shimmery blush! Everything I own is matte!
    oh and Melba allllll the way! Its my favourite blush!:D
