Lip Combo – MAC Lady Danger and MAC Pink Poodle

I know I had to post only MAC Lady Danger’s FOTD but for now here is this awesome lip combo I tried yesterday and thought of sharing some pics with you guys and then I will post a review on MAC’s Lady Danger Lipstick which is newest in my stash.

I am finding the latest mattes little creamier as compared to the other ones I have , maybe there is some change in formulation. Lady Danger is ultra creamy and when paired with gloss it lasted me good 5 hrs and then there was lovely red stain which were equally noticeable.

MAC Lady Danger as mentioned in earlier post is Matte Orange Red color and I thought of pairing this with lovely MAC Pink Poodle Lip glass.

MAC Pink Poodle is Bright Fuchsia color with blue shimmer in it making it cool toned color. Both the colors compliment so well and it makes Lady Danger more wearable. The combination of these are just perfect in every sense as lip glass lifts the lipstick shade in terms of adding glossiness , providing the oomph factor to already amazing Orange Red color.

And here is me wearing the lip shades and no blush as I wanted the lip color to really stand out…. What say??

      1. I just tried creamblend blush in Posey and it didnt impressed me .. which one you bought ??
      2. I am in a fix honey .. just saw MAC Bright Sunshine which is pro color , you think i should pick that ?? Or wait for Surf Blond from LE collection ??

        To elaborate on my earlier FOTD feedback – well u know i have/n like Lady Danger – its perfect when u want to kick it up a notch or two. As u rightly said, its not an everyday shade…unless u’r a backup dancer in Las Vegas for a Robert Palmer-esque show 🙂 It looks lovely here with u’r l/g combo n neutral eye – the vivid hue suits u. And as Dev like these shades on u… i’m sure he’s in 7th heaven 😉

        As for the cremeblend blushes – my advice – SKIP ALL. Firstly these are perm so need to rush out n buy them. Secondly nothing is unique – esp Posey – its rather blah. Yes the cremeblend formula is def better than the old blushcreme – i have combo oily skin and i love how the blush stays on thru the day for me. But other than the formula overhaul there’s nothing new n exciting about these. Infact u already have something similar, as i recall its a MUFE pink one – forget exactly which – that’s def better in terms of colour pay off. If u really want a coral blush then pick up Virgin Isle cream colour base. But my advice is wait for mac to expand this line with colours more adapted to NC30 n beyond. I have Joi de Vivre + Optimistic Orange (LE Lillyland Coll) and both are really saturated colours, pretty n unique… so worth waiting for a re-release.

        MAC Sun Blonde or MAC Bright Sunshine? well u know me…get both 🙂 sun blonde is a deeper yellow (leans more mustard) whilst bright sunshine is a pop of happy yellow. So they are quite diff. But if u have to choose only one… then check how similar sun blonde is to the Inglot one u already have.

          Dev is fond of red lips and his fav is RR and these days Dubbonet 😀 God seriously and how well you remd. honey
          and as far as MAC C.B. yeah am def. skipping as you also felt the same and now as you have given your consent i will def. pick Bright Sunshine , its actually coming very inexpensive so I think i need to buy that ASAP and I hate my INGLOT its powdery honey
          and SB will take another 25 days to launch here and i have ample time to see the looks online what say ??

    I love it that you have just kept it simple with your eyes lined and bare cheeks! u’re ryt! it does stand out and how! ‘m loving this lady danger lyk hell!! Surprisingly, pink poodle is not affecting the redness of the lipstick at all!!

    Have you tried the MAC Sheen Supreme lipsticks? MAC at Phoenix did not have it when I checked 2 weeks back! I am tempted………..

    Need ur take on INGLOT. I am obsessed and travel from Chembur to Versova for hauling!

      yeah this is def. bright 😀
      I havent tried sheen Supreme 🙁 let see may be next month
      and Inglot … I am not very impressed with their eyeshadows
      firstly their freedom system which sucks . You buy e/s for 330/- and pay 1400/- for 10 pan palette whats the use ??
      Then comes quality which is between average to poor , very powdery and the lighter shades need to be layerd 3 – 4 times and then you get the colors

      for me their e/s are no no but if you want to try buy then in sale and try with 3 pan.
      Their YSM – young skin makeup powder foundation is good you can try that
      and their lip products are on an average
      Brushes are good but again i would only suggest buying them in sale 😀
