MAC Cherish Lipstick – FOTD

My hunt for perfect Nude Lipstick is still on and here is one more in my makeup vanity and it’s Cherish by MAC. I have already posted Lip Combo with this but this is how it looks on me without any add ones.

MAC Cherish is described as Soft muted peachy-beige and has Satin finish; the lipstick is completely opaque with nice glossy shine. It stays good 4 hrs on my lips and if applied with lip liner and gloss it stays even more.

MAC Satin is one my favorite lipstick finish along with Amplified creams as they give nice coverage and the staying power is little longer as compared to luster and other finishes. The lipstick is very creamy and glides easily, the color is awesome peachy brown with no shimmer or glitter , has nice shine to it which makes it wonderful and best bet as compared to matte nudes.

I am huge fan of Kareena Kapoor but am afraid to mention this in public…you know na … Well if not her whole vanity at least I can buy one of her favorite right ?? And this is her favorite lipstick and a must have in her stash and that was enough for me to pick this up …. If you Google Cherish lipstick you will see so many articles of hers and wow that makes me feel so SPECIAL …..

I am NC 35 and the lipstick is just perfect for me although I think the color would suit most of the skin tones as it isn’t to pale, has nice peachy undertones to go with our Warm complexion.

And this is how it looks on my NC 35 skin tone , not one of the most flattering shades but not the worst I think.

And this is how it looks when paired with MUFE Gloss no S 4 , which looks more wearable rather then adorning alone.

I did this smokey eyes in above pics and thought of sharing a close up with you guys …. what say ??

What else you want in a nude lipstick??? Good color payoff doesn’t washes you out and can be used alone and more over its Favorite of Kareena Kapoor … isn’t it good enough to buy this beauty??

I have tried MAC’s Velvet Teddy and some more shades but Cherish is the awesome Nude Lipstick for my NC 35 skin tone. Have you tried this shade?? Which one is your favourite Nude Lipstick from MAC ??

    The Swatch and the lip swatch look so different na?? but l like it..will check out next time at MAC..oooh…and yeah..I satisfied my red craving n got Dubonnet :-)) love it so far..

    niiice…great smokey eye Rashmi – esp the plum/purple twist on the lower eyelid…very unique. As u know Cherish is my go to lippie with a super black smokey eye – i had mentioned this earlier in u’r previously featured post – infact it was my first MAC lipstick. Unlike other nude lipsticks i find it isnt too tricky to pull off – but it pairs best with a smokey/vibrant eyecombo.

    I loveeeee nude lipsticks.. as I wear a lot of smokey eye looks and nude lipsticks are so easy to apply. I don’t have to ask myself “will this clash with my eyeshadow/blush?”

    My favourite nude lipstick is MAC Touch. This looks nice on you Rashmi Didi, you have very good taste 🙂

        haha thankyouuu!! *bows* But I have to confess, never really tried a nude.. I have gone as far as trying something close to my natural lip colour.. But haven’t done a nude yet! 🙂 If I ever try one, I’ll definitely show you!:P
