REVLON Matte Lipsticks – Review and FOTD

Revlon Matte Lipstick are not the new launch from the brand but one the favourites of mine along with Colorburst range or say I love them more then Colorburst range as they stay long without feathering and drying my lips despite being matte finish and that’s why its one of the best lipsticks around to have in your stash …

I don’t have too many shades but the ones I have are good enough to solve my purpose and am eying few more shades for day to day wear…. priced at 500/- INR (approx.) they aren’t an inexpensive but awesome dupes for MAC matte range if you haven’t discovered that …

The colors range in matte finish are pinks , reds wines and browns have no idea about coral shade but yeah they do are classy colors … Available in 12 – 15 shades the color selection is limited and basic , staying power is awesome and so is the texture …. no cons just the price otherwise this is BIG HIT for me in all aspects

Wine Not – A perfect berry wine color for that Bold girls out there … definitely not the easy going shade but its good as I think its sheer waste of money to spend in higher end brands for this color .. this is perfect Wine color without evening thinking twice and splurging 3 times try this color for pick me up look … deadly color and awesome shade to adorn on your lips without much eye makeup … See FOTD H E R E

Really Red – Wonderful Blue based Red and is a close dupe for MAC Russian Red and I have very soft corner for the shade as its awesome attention seeker color , suits my warm skin tone perfectly and there isn’t any need to apply any balm underneath as the lipstick is so moisturizing which is the main problem when we see a matte finish but this one has awesome texture and finish. ….. I love this color and you can have a look at the FOTD H E R E

Pink About It – Looks bright in tube but on lips it looks wonderful everyday pink color , with warm tones to it the color is very soft and fresh adds freshness to your pale skin .. the shade is discontinued but I hope i might get a dupe for that very soon …. c an be layered to give more intense look … this one is quite sheer but buildable consistency

And here is how Pink About It looks on me , I have Bare Minerals Foundation in Medium Tan on me …. I wounder if the foundation is looking okay or not ???? Would love to hear your opinion about the shade on me …

    Heyy! Pink about it looks so gorgeous..Its the kinda color that would brighten up anyones face in a jiffy…But I dint know its longer lasting than the colorburst range…I guess the classic range from Revlon will never die..:)

    How was the day tday? MAC trip kaisa tha? 😉

            Well, Fri ka to u know…movie and chappal shopping..Sat ko went out for grocery shopping…phir bought and couriered mom-in-laws bday gift :)..Got her a nice purse and a clutch..in the bargain me too got a clutch! 😉 Also I got 3 more pairs of chappals..hehe..This weekend it was chappal haul for me…then went to Moms place, spent time..dinner kiya..

            Kal to had guests…to subah se cleaning was goin on..and then cooking..so slept late at night andm exhausted tday..hehe..Zzzzz.. 😉 Wot bout u? kya kya kiya kal?

            hahahhah ….. we went to forum mall there is this nice play area for kids which anmol liked very much and then some of my shopping in westside
            and a lush cleanser for me 😀 thats it nothing much …

            Awesome! Any trip to Lush is totally worth it? I love most of their products..Which cleanser do u use? I use Angels on bare skin …And Aqua Marina once in a while when I feel like my Skin is really oily.. 🙂

            Forum is so crowded na? I used to find it exhausting! I love Garuda and Mantri mall though…thoda kam crowd and can roam freely..

            right now am using herbalism and i went to pick that only but ended up buying aqua marina and am glad to hear you use it as i have comb. to oily skin i think its gonna suit me …
            but yeah even am planning to use it alternate with herbalism 😀
            i do hate forum but garuda and forum both are very near to our place … and as MAC is opp Garuda i do prefer it but again as i said Anmol ka Gaming prog. hahaha
            so for him we prefer Forum …..

            I’ve never used herbalism..I found the smell kinda strong to be honest..leme see..next time I order i’ll ask for a sample…they give so much ya..and we hav only 3-4 months to finish na? This is my last month to finish up my cleansers and i still have alot left..God knows if i’ll be able to finish!

            Yep..MAC is the main reason I luv Garuda too…Although when i was there, I used to just go and drool over everything..hehe..

    Hey, I used to love BE powder foundations when I was around 19-20. The thing is they can dry you out quite a lot and I had a really dry phase when I was 21-22. So I ditched them…also I dont think it photographs really nicely. This lipstick looks nice…pair with fleur power 🙂

    I kinda like Revlon Mattes but my lips are very dry so I top it off with a gloss/balm 🙂 My favorite is this shade called Mauve It Over. Try it next time. It’ll look fab on you 🙂

    revlon really red matte lipstick is the colour that really catches the eye. I guess this colour is suitable for all types of skin tones. Will surely try it out, wish you had worn the other 2 colours as well. The pink one looks different. I like the texture.
