BLUSH – Matte or Satin what would you prefer ??

NARS Taos Blush is one Hell of a Blush that scares me to death and seriously when I thought MAC  Frankly Scarlet and NARS EXHIBIT A are hard to wear color this comes in front of me with all smiles and take my breath away … I tried this quite a few times and had always over done this color and then I have to go again with powder foundation to tone down the color … But this never happened with my REDS ??

And the only reason I could figure out is … The REDS I have are matte and this being Satin finish coz you can control matte blushes as brush doesn’t pick much in one go but the case is opposite with this Blush which has super soft texture

Looks inviting in Pan and on cheeks it looks even more eye catching just make sure you use light hands like feather touch your brush with this and done for the nice pop of bronzy brick color on your cheeks … as the texture is super smooth and satiny the brush pics a lot of color in one swipe and you would end up looking like a doll with horrid raspberry red cheeks

Taos is described as desert rose with shimmer on their site , priced at $ 27 for 0.16 oz is definitely worth spending as its gonna last you as long as you are able to wear blushes … does that make sense ?? Its gonna last me forever and that’s why I never regret buying any blush from NARS ….

Texture is ultra creamy and smooth satiny with fine golden shimmer and never ever I felt the chunks of gold flying all over my face , the shimmer just settles down and leaves nice bronzed look …

The color is perfect for medium to dark skin tones and especially Warm skin tone gals as it has deep red undertones I think its the best blush for those who never satisfied with NARS “O” …. pick this beauty and you never feel the need of “O”

And again I tried and this is how it looks on me …. there is no natural light as the climate here is very bad …. Although this is way better then what I looked in initial trials with this particular blush … care for gifting me MAC 188 ??

As the color has golden shimmer I liked this one compared to Exhibit A or Frankly Scarlet … it gives the face nice glow and make sure to go light with eye makeup to make the color stand out  ….

And a closer look at MAC Ambering Rose which is 95% close to NARS Taos or say they both belong to same color family Red Brick color with golden shimmer ,

Nars is uber pigmented and MAC is little less however both have nice satin finish and buttery texture , you can easily go wrong if apply with heavy hand

TAOS looks a little Coral while Ambering Rose has strong brown undertones in it

As mentioned in my earlier post as well , NARS “O” is very hyped and they do offer wide variety of worth picking shades this being included and my favourite Deep Throat …. try this if you happen to or otherwise if there is any sale grab this without thinking twice …. gonna last you for ever

From Sephora Sale I picked Sin/Casino set and Dolce vita …. wow that makes a lot of Blushes but guess my heart slips If I see  any new color and suggestions for me … I mean for the color and not for controlling ???

    Its really a lovely color and looks so pretty on u..u luk like a college goin-gal with this blush! uber cute! I wud name this look as the ‘Rose Rush’ Look..i like ambering rose alot..i had swatched it once lekin liya nahi..now seeing this review makes me think about it once again….hmmm.. 😉

      dep throat is awesome color and i sooooo love it and every time i pick the color the love increases …

    This colour is ALL about the blending – I can see how even a slightly wrong technique, a too-heavy hand, or a too big brush will give your clown cheeks.
    But done right – like you’ve demonstrated – it can be a very very sexy thing! Good going sweetcheeks!

    I got Dolce Vita last week. It’s quite pretty but it has some shimmer. The texture is amazing. Now you’re tempting me with Taos 🙂

        I picked Blissful and Flush but I’ll be returning Flush and getting another shade coz it looks too stark on me even after blending! Loving Blissful you must try its a peachy coral 🙂

    hiii mac guru…..very beautifukl shade….but not my kinds….i tried ambering rose in store,……and it gave me a burnt chhel look……..may be because mac ambering rose has strong brown red unmdertones….just not sure hw taos will look on me……….though it se3ems better than mac
