Summer is here or we are still enjoying Spring ??

A dead ringer from Illamasqua , the lipstick is launched with their TOXIC Nature Collection which is going to hit stores in April however its available online from their site and yeah they do ship internationally so no excuse to leave the awesome collection which is Bold and Beautiful but you need to have lot of confidence in wearing the shades and this is the one I am talking in particular.

The packaging is black shiny case which is prone to finger prints , its a square tube but looks awesome

Its a matte finish lipstick which makes it long lasting and opaque color , pigmentation is awesome and has this nice subtle fragrance .. but where is lipstick ?? Come on lets cut the crap and jump here to see the most difficult shade of lipstick I have ever encounter

The color is Intense Orange with no pink or blue undertones , there is no shimmer or glitter guess its a matte texture however there is hint of nice shine in it and you need to be extra careful with other makeup as wearing this alone would make your face look pale

As the lipstick have matte finish it is little bit on drying side and well yeah you do need to have clean and flake free lips to adorn this deadly shade , its a warm shade and looks okay on me however I was more comfortable after pairing it with a gloss .

And here is me with a little gloss , it was looking more wearable with a gloss rather then using it matte ,

So what say ?? Isn’t it a scary color or you have confidence to sport this shade ?? I would not recommend this to you without swatching however if you are a fun loving and daring gal do try this out as the color itself is adorable…

    This shade is sooooo lively and has the power to breathe life into anyone no matter how dull they feel…As u said, it does take alotta confidence to carry off this shade..But regardless…I love it!!! :*

    Rashmi, i really like how u pull this lip colour off. I know u’r not too kicked about it, but IMO the version with a gloss top-coat looks gorgeous on u… esp with the gilded eyeshadow pairing. Can u give me a breakdown of what u have on u’r eyes? I def plan on re-creating this look (ofcourse i’ll have to make do with my MAC temp rising lip pencil…thanks to u i’m putting it to use). This look with an all white ensemble is sure to be a real head-turner.

      Isha .. the color is def. hard to pull off and i had to use it as this was sent but again thats a stupid excuse to use this wonderful and unique color which is very much in ….
      in fact you know i want a good orange which i am able to wear but then i thought , i would pair this with any lipliner to make it work for me …
      and as far as this look goes … i was trying hard but only settled for 2 things and that is

      Make Up For Ever Aqua eyes in Bronze 10 L with heavy hand and covering almost 1/4th of the lid and MAC Coppertone blush 😀 😀

      and now you have given me nice idea to wear this with white top … let me try it once more and i will get back to you and share the outcome 😀 😀

U kno Rash, its not really about the camera..Ofcourse its important, but whats alot more a priority is the sincerity which u put behind ur posts and all the heart and effort expended behind taking such detailed pics and being bindaas about the comments. There r very few people who take criticism with such grace..Whether the feedback is positive or negative, ur never scared to show ur pics and the true nature of the product. U cud easily doctor pics to make them look better, but u dont..Like a true blogger, u let the readers decide for themselves whether the product is gud and whether it wud suit.. :))

    I love this. Illamasqua should thank you for keeping the colors real and not messing with the pictures to lighten them. Also, thank you for keeping your blog professional. Isn’t it sad that some nobody’s have to trash talk like that? Also, at least you are not someone who is desperate for free stuff and flaunts them like miss cheapo herself.

    This reminds me very much of an old, old Lancome shade (at least 15 years old) called Initial Orange. Such a beautiful colour and so creamy and opaque. I’m loving Illamasqua for their fearless approach to colour. Forget safe neutrals and browns – this is where the party is!
