The Sculpting Kit is a set of two compact powders suited to reshape and alter the size of the face using a light and shadow contrast. Using the dark shade in hollow areas reduces the size of the face, while the light shade can be applied to prominent features, helping to emphasize them.

Available in 4 shades – # 1 – Light Pink , # 2 – Neutral Light , # 3 – Gold , # 4 – Dark

How to use – Use two brushes, one for the lighter shade and one for the darker one.
Use the pale shade on prominent areas and the darker shade on hollow areas.
Blend the colors into one another to even out the result and give a natural finish.

Advice – Use the sculpting shades for light and shadow effects (the lighter shade for emphasis and the darker one for hollow areas) to make the face look younger and bring out features, thin out the oval of the face and conceal unflattering areas. On pale skin, use the lighter shade for a matte finish, in the same manner as a standard powder.
Both shades can be used on the eyes for a natural look.

Formula – Mineral powders , Kaolin based talc , Ester

The shade I have is No 3 which very well goes with my NC 35 skin tone , Comes in sleek black case the 2 powders are used to do sculpting look … I mean make your face look slim and more defined …

The darker one has very little or say barely there shimmer while the lightest one has no shimmer , you can say it is a shimmer free highlighter which is hard to find .

For some its a big advantage to have a matte highlighter but the one who loves shimmery highlighters would not like this .. guess highlighters are meant to be shimmery …. Correct me here pls

One should apply blush first then apply the bronzer or the color darker to your skin tone and then highlighter

But in the pics below the steps I have shown are –  bare face , with the darkest shade of MUFE duo and then with highlighter and I then finished off with pink blusher to show you the transition ….

It is not a review just the face of the day , I would be reviewing it for the staying power and different ways to use this ,

I have Make Up For ever HD Foundation in # 125 on my face , if you see my pics you might feel the color difference in my neck and face … its just the Flash who is actually culprit , If I post my pics without flash you will see there is no difference , I don’t wear foundation on neck as some says it bleeds but then few people say its a must .. I am completely unaware but as far as my pics are concerned or the foundation are concerned I have pretty much good foundation which matches my skin tone …. this being said here is a pic of mine with direct sun light hitting my face although again I used the flash but I hope you can see there isn’t much a difference …

I hope you might have liked the sculpting duo …. its a must have product for me , the size is awesome and quality is unbelievable , awesome texture which is easy to blend , would again post few looks using the same with highlighter gel…

    Which brush do u normally use for the dark shade application? U do it very precisely and neatly..Luv that!

    mac guru……this is such a fandoo product……….specially for a chubby face like me…..mera face bilkul gol matol hai…so this product is a must have for me…..but the catch is mufe is not available here and second..i dont knw how to do contouring…..but i guess i shud practice this contouring thing……
    btw iska price kitna hai…….u mentioned in ur earlier post but i dont remember….i guess its around 1500….
    and the highlighter is also awsome….but what is the highlighter GEL that u mntioned at the end of ur post….??
    and i love the blush shade too…..what blush did u use…..???

      its around 2000/- i think coz there r 2 powders .. its just a guess but yeahh may be 😀

      you can pick any dark foundation to use as contouring … try a powder one or liquid which ever is easy for you 😀

      and i posted one uplighting gel rem .. its from MUFE as well thats what i mentioned here 😀

      and on my cheeks i have benefit bella bamba blush .. i used pink so that it shows the color diff. nicely 😀
