I am such a sucker for Coral shades and am always in a hunt for the perfect shade of Coral lips Coral blush and here is my small but adorable collection of MAC Coral shades of lipstick …. only 3 of them are from LE and everything else is from their permanent range ….
You think am crazy ?? Well …. should keep quite and let the post speaks for itself … here are my favourite corals from MAC
The colors here are part of Limited Edition Collection and are re-released now and then …
Fresh Salmon – Lustre Formula lipstick released with Spring Color Forecast Collection its wonderful Coral pink color with golden shimmer which is prominent ,
Made To Order – Released with Pret – a – Papier collection its Lustre Finish which makes it semi sheer lipstick , nice moisturizing formula but not long staying , the color is wonderful coral pink with subtle shimmer which is unlikely to have in Lustre formula
Ever Hip – Released with liberty of London Collection last year its Cremesheen finish its sheer to medium coverage lipstick , more of pinky coral color and with no shimmer or glitter …. one of the best colors corals by MAC from LE range
Rest of the 5 are from Permanent Range and are awesome the finishes are different and hence looks different on lips
See Sheer – As the name says its Sheer Pink Coral shade with Lustre finish , looks wonderful on its own but the staying power is not very good … the color makes it adorable and easy to wear shade without making the face pale , no need of gloss just the lipstick is good enough on its own
Rambling Rose – The only FROST Finish Coral I have and would ever have , the color is peachy coral with shimmer overload as its frost , would never recommend you without trying , pair it with gloss and it looks perfect , on its own this is not the good finish as the silver shimmer is very prominent and not to forget the not so moisturizing texture
Ravishing – Peachy Coral shade with yellow undertones makes my face pale and hence not the good color choice for me , Cremesheen formula makes it sheer to medium coverage with no shimmer or glitter just nice sheen to it
My Top 2 Coral shades which I would recommend blindly , both of them are awesome and would suit any skin tone , would brighten up your face and make your complexion pop
Vegas Volt – The name is Vegas Volt and this definitely is high voltage lipstick , its amplified formula which makes the color opaque , very moisturizing and long staying lipstick and is Most popular shade of CORALS By MAC , If Morange and Crosswires have a baby this would be the result .. yeahh bang on Perfect Orange Coral it is … this definitely needs some of your love , try out this and grab all the attention around
Crosswires – Cremesheen formula but outstanding color on its own , If I have to pick one color this would be it and I know am gonna be buying this color for ever , lovely pink coral color with nice shine to it , no need to apply lipgloss just dab the lipstick and you are done for the day …. its cooler color but perfect for my skin tone and never washes me out like Ravishing which is yellow based color ….
This is my Coral Picks from MAC have not included lipgloss but for one word Lychee Luxe is ultimate Coral color Lipgloss from MAC and is my only favourite gloss of all time ….

Ohhh Godd! y r u doing this to me Rash!!! M trying to get out of my Coral obsession and this article is just gonna push me over the edge 🙂 🙂 I love Made-to-order and Crosswires…They look so gorgeous and yummy! I wish I could go and buy all of these…But my lips are very sensitive..more so than my skin and I dunno y, but MAC lipsticks and glosses dry out my lips and the skin starts flaking… 🙁 🙁 I know this seems weird to hear, lekin hota hai 🙁 I haven’t tried their lip glasses, but maybe they would work better since they r lighter…fingers crossed…
Any idea of dupes I could buy??

i think this is quite common … i would say may be scrubbing lips would be a good idea … or try clarins and clinique as they are very hydrating lipstick 😀

i loved the swatches of made to order and crosswires…….i guess i need to pick crosswires…..as made to order is LE….hence out of reach….

Thanks for this eye-candy post…I too love coral lippies…i’m missing see sheer n crosswires so will def add them to my stash. I’m glad u share my love for Ramblin Rose…it’s one of those hidden gems…i wear it with Sweet Brown cremestick liner n Fulfilled Plushglass…one of my fav lip combos. btw i think this post is a great idea…maybe u can do a roundup of all the other hues as well – browns; reds; pinks etc.

Noo, today I picked up Syrup. I’ve been wanting it for awhile now and they had it in stock here (it is a bit of a curse to work same row as the MAC store…) so I grabbed it. Maybe I’ll go back for a Coral one next week. Must be good and save money to go to Chennai with my mother in August 🙂

hey Rash, if u had to chooose between crosswires and vegas volt for me which wud u choose for everyday wear?
for everyday crosswires … but when you use vegas volt as tint it looks damn hot yaar …
use VV with fingers and then use your lakme love cond. on top ..
