A REVIEW ??? noo a story to share and make you feel for me
I never ever shop at any MAC store except for JVPD , reasons my favourite manager there “Brazilia” who has never forced me to make me buy anything which will not look good on me , if she is in doubt she would straight away say no rather then confuse me , she has sometimes kept the stuff which I had given for bill as there was no point in picking the stuff she is the one who makes me buy wisely , I AM SO LUCKY to have her here , I always maintain my words and I know ( will in future too….
But to my bad luck or say good luck .. I was out last week for some window shopping and didn’t wanted to go all the way to Juhu in AUTO so headed to Andheri instead , luckily I got deep truth and Ravishing and along with that I ended up buying this beauty … all thanks to the beautiful MUA who convinced me that the color is looking awesome on me … ahhh I was wearing this beautiful green kurti with olive green eyeliner and crosswires lippe and when she applied the blush it was looking awesome on that combo … so after seeing 10 blushes I settled for this beauty … I think it was destined to be with me , as earlier also whenever I use to look at the blush counter the color always caught my attention and now no point its here with me in all its glory
I am talking about MAC’s Frankly Scarlet which is described as Vivid rose-red ( matte ) , I know if I would have not written it , you would have easily guessed by the color itself
The color is mouth watering and scary at the same time but when applied on cheeks it gives the beautiful rosy glow which we get in winters as the cold breeze touch our cheeks and they turns red … a perfect Christmas color it is .. sorry for bad description but pls understand my happiness to make this blush work for me … its just over flowing here and I consider myself lucky to try this and have this with me , to tell you when my hubby saw this on me he was like WOW its just the perfect blush for you .. noo honey its not the perfect its one of the perfect .. I still have to find some more RIGHT ??
I am so much into trying bright colors these days … NARS’s Taj mahal and Exhibit A were in my wish list but as they are not easily available here I am eying MAC’s Breeze and Fever next … already got NYX Orange blush and this .. which by far most scary blush I have but at the same time very pretty
If you are above NC 35 or 40 I highly recommend you to try this blush … it might be the perfect blush for you and pls as I always say experiment and explore you never know you might find your HG beauty
The pigmentation of this blush is AWESOME … only one word AWESOME , I just TOUCH my blush brush and it picks up enough color on it which is good enough for my one cheek I never go back like I have to for some colors , and when I am saying I TOUCH it really is just a TOUCH and done situation , it gives excellent rosy glow to my face
I use MAC’s 116 Blush Brush but a buffer brush like 188 would be equally good for this
and here is me with the Blush
I am NC 35 and it looks very wearable for me , a little fair person would feel its too much but you have to apply very tiny bit to achieve perfect rosy cheeks and I wonder you would never be able to finish this blush , I am passing this on to my would be daughter-in-law , yeah actually this is the first cosmetic I can actually say i am passing this on to my future generation GOD pls bless me with baby girl … is all I can say right now
I highly recommend this blush for dusky skin gals and especially for winters … but pls makeup has no rules .. just open up and cross your boundaries

I am a big fan of red blushes – I have one in cream from NYX & it is called “Red” and another in powder from jordana – redwood.. I have noticed that red blushes if applied in moderation tend to look very, very good as compared to pink ones & more natural too 🙂

Rashmi u know it suits you so beautifully…just loved it on you.. ..i tried hard other day on MAC counter so that it can suit me but it didn’t …i guess it will be best suited between NC35 to NC 40..

Yeah, I tried Laguna at the store but looked quite muddy on me….I so wanna try Albatross…Let me see…if not i’ll pick up some other blush and highlighter combo separately..do u have swatches for Orgasm/Laguna here?

I’ve tried somewhat same color, definitely nt fr me…. I will still stick to neutral shades fr my cheeks…. Complimenting u alootttt n very nice review:)… Bt, it scares me …. Lol… And I end up buying dior amber diamond skin shimmer…. Just loving it…:)

Personally I think you rock better in peachy orange blushes because they add luminosity to Indian tones. Red is bright in the pan but does not brighten up the cheeks. Unless you topped it up with a light-reflecting pink?
FIRE ENGINE hhahaha yeah this actually is. but its one of the most unique colors which you find in MAC and moreover would suit most indian skin tones 🙂

from MAC i would say go for a good blush … if you prefer very natural coppertone is what comes to my mind or if u like peach go for Style or sunbasque 🙂
ELF is there in khar NBC .. i wonder why u find people rude there .. i never had this problem , but may be coz m over friendly with every SA….

its bit hard to work as compared to BOA blush … BOA is more on coral side
